India strongly condemned a security breach during External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar’s UK visit, where Khalistani extremists protested outside London’s Chatham House. One protester tore the Indian flag in front of police, raising diplomatic concerns. The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) called the act “provocative” and urged the UK to uphold its obligations. Videos showed extremists chanting slogans and confronting Jaishankar’s convoy. Despite the incident, Jaishankar engaged in talks with UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy, discussing bilateral ties. He also firmly rejected third-party intervention in Kashmir, calling for Pakistan to return “illegally occupied” territory.

Rescue operations have intensified following the collapse of the Srisailam Left Bank Canal (SLBC) tunnel in Telangana, where eight workers, including two engineers, remain trapped. Specialized machinery and expert teams, including those from the Border Roads Organisation (BRO) and South Central Railway (SCR), are engaged in clearing the final 40-50 meters of debris to reach the trapped individuals. The BRO has confirmed the stabilization of the tunnel site, allowing for safer debris removal operations. Despite these efforts, challenges persist due to waterlogging and structural complexities within the tunnel. Authorities continue dewatering processes and structural assessments to facilitate the rescue mission.

A chilling CCTV video shows accused Sachin carrying Congress worker Himani Narwal’s body in a black suitcase in Rohtak. Police said he allegedly strangled her with a mobile charger cord on February 27 after a financial dispute. The body was found near a bus station on Saturday.
