The Bombay High Court has declined to direct the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) to issue a certificate for Kangana Ranaut's film 'Emergency'. A 3-year-old boy, Ayush Chauhan, died in a tragic accident at a biscuit factory in Ambarnath, Thane district, on Monday. He was with his mother, a tiffin supplier, when he got stuck in a machine belt while trying to pick up a biscuit. Factory staff pulled him out and rushed him to a nearby hospital, where he was declared dead. A case of accidental death has been registered, and the body has been sent for postmortem. The incident occurred on Monday, and the police are investigating the matter. The boy's mother was present at the factory during the incident.

The Bengaluru Police have filed a chargesheet against Kannada actor Darshan Thoogudeepa in connection with the murder of his fan, Renukaswamy. Darshan, currently in judicial custody until September 9, faces charges supported by over 200 pieces of evidence. This includes forensic reports of bloodstains on Darshan’s and other accused individuals' clothing, a photograph from an accused’s phone showing Renukaswamy pleading not to be beaten, CCTV footage of Darshan, and bloodstains on actor Pavithra Gowda's footwear, allegedly used to assault Renukaswamy. The victim, an auto driver, was found dead near a Bengaluru flyover on June 9.

An Indian Coast Guard helicopter crashed into the Arabian Sea near Porbandar on Monday night. Two personnel were confirmed dead, while a flight diver was rescued. The pilot remains missing.
