Renukaswamy, fan of actor Darshan, who was found dead near a flyover in Bengaluru on June 9 had multiple bruises, a missing ear, and ruptured testicles. An autopsy revealed he was beaten with wooden clubs and given electric shocks, dying from shock and hemorrhage. Police allege Darshan ordered the murder after Renukaswamy sent offensive messages to actress Pavithra Gowda, rumored to be Darshan's partner. Darshan, Pavithra, and 15 others have been arrested. The actor allegedly paid gang members to kidnap and kill Renukaswamy, also offering money to take the blame.
