India plans to allocate $3.7 billion to fence its 1,610-km border with Myanmar over the next decade, aiming to curb smuggling and illegal activities. The fence will be accompanied by parallel roads and feeder roads connecting military bases. The decision, awaiting Prime Minister Narendra Modi's cabinet approval, comes amidst India's shift in its visa policy with Myanmar due to national security concerns. Myanmar has not yet responded to India's plans.

An Air India Express flight bound for Chennai was hit by an IndiGo aircraft while taxiing at Kolkata Airport, causing damage to the stationary plane's wing. The incident prompted the off-rostering of IndiGo pilots by the DGCA. Netizens shared images of the damage, criticizing the lack of updates for passengers. Tragedy struck in Meerut as four children lost their lives in a fire sparked by a faulty mobile charger. Babita and Johnny, their parents, were injured trying to save them. Babita is fighting for her life at Safdarjung Hospital in Delhi, while Johnny is recovering in Meerut. According to SP Ayush Vikram Singh, the children were taken to LLRM Medical Hospital, where two died on March 23, another during transfer on March 24, and the fourth, Sarika, later succumbed. In a late-night operation, Mumbai police detained Bigg Boss 17 winner and comedian Munawar Faruqui, along with 13 others, during a raid on a hookah bar.
