Calling the Supreme Court's interim order "not acceptable," the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) said the decision allowing investigations into student protest FIRs to continue contradicts assurances allegedly given by the Centre during negotiations. Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) chief Abhijeet Dipke on Tuesday warned the government of another large-scale protest, alleging that students involved in the NEET agitation were being harassed by police. In a post on X, Dipke claimed authorities had launched a "witch-hunt" against students and demanded that the alleged action stop immediately. "If the witch-hunting of students is not stopped, we will organise a massive peaceful protest," he said. A general diary entry accessed by The Hindu shows that the Rapid Action Force (RAF) fired two rounds of plastic pellets from an anti-riot gun during the July 20 Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) march to Parliament on the directions of a Delhi Police Deputy Commissioner (DCP).
