At least 12 Palestinians were killed in three Israeli strikes across Gaza on Tuesday, according to local medics. Six members of one family died after their apartment in Gaza City was hit. UK Prime Minister Andy Burnham told ministers his government would focus on reducing the cost of living during his first Cabinet meeting on Tuesday.
