Rahul Gandhi extended conditional support to the NDA government's candidate for Lok Sabha Speaker on Tuesday. Delhi Water Minister Atishi's hunger strike over the capital's water crisis ended after her health deteriorated. The 43-year-old was hospitalized due to low blood sugar levels, which dropped to 36. Aam Aadmi Party MP Sanjay Singh said Atishi was admitted to Lok Nayak Hospital's ICU after doctors warned of a life-threatening situation. Her hunger strike lasted five days, during which her condition worsened significantly. The party shared pictures of Atishi being taken to the hospital, highlighting the gravity of her condition. Her health is being closely monitored.

The Delhi High Court will deliver its verdict on the Enforcement Directorate's (ED) plea to stay the trial court's order granting regular bail to Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in the excise policy case. Kejriwal was granted bail on Thursday, but the ED moved the High Court the next day, seeking a stay on the order. The High Court imposed an interim stay on Kejriwal's release. Kejriwal then approached the Supreme Court against the stay. The ED claims the trial court's order was "lopsided and perverse" and that it was not given sufficient time to present its arguments. The verdict will decide Kejriwal's fate and possible release from Tihar jail.

Delhi Water Minister Atishi was hospitalized on Tuesday after her blood sugar levels plummeted to 36 during her indefinite hunger strike over the city's water crisis. She was admitted to Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Hospital in the early hours of Tuesday. Atishi's hunger strike, which entered its fifth day, is against the Haryana government's alleged failure to release 100 MGD of water to Delhi. The AAP leader has vowed to continue her strike until Haryana provides water to Delhiites and opens the gates of the Hathnikund Barrage. Atishi's condition is being monitored by doctors, and her party has accused the Haryana government of putting her life at risk.

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah of "attacking" the Indian Constitution, asserting that the Opposition will protect it against any attempts to undermine it. This came in response to PM Modi's criticism of the Emergency imposed in 1975 by Indira Gandhi.
