Maliwal, who accused Kejriwal’s aide of assault, claimed the video was shared "without context" by political adversaries. The AAP asserted that the footage reveals Maliwal's true intentions. The video captures Maliwal refusing to leave the premises and making derogatory remarks, leading to a heated exchange. Maliwal insists that CCTV footage from inside the house will validate her claims of assault. The incident highlights deepening tensions within the party.              

AAP leader Swati Maliwal has filed a complaint alleging assault by Bibhav Kumar, an aide to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. Maliwal claims the incident occurred at Kejriwal's official residence, where she was verbally abused and physically attacked by Kumar in the presence of the Chief Minister. According to Maliwal, Kumar slapped her multiple times, causing distress and pain. Despite her pleas, the assault reportedly continued. Maliwal managed to flee and seek help from the police. The accusation has sparked concern and scrutiny over the behavior and security standards within the Chief Minister's office.

In response to AAP MP Swati Maliwal's complaint, Delhi Police filed an FIR naming Arvind Kejriwal's personal assistant, Bibhav Kumar, as an accused in the assault case. The FIR, lodged under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code, follows Maliwal's statement recorded by a police team. Maliwal, who spoke publicly on the incident, urged BJP to refrain from politicizing it. Delhi BJP Mahila Morcha extended support to Maliwal, emphasizing the need for strict action against the culprits while Maliwal appealed to avoid politicization of the issue.

In an exclusive interview with India Today Group, Prime Minister Narendra Modi provided insights into his plans for the first 125 days if elected for a third consecutive term. He revealed that the initial 25 days would be dedicated exclusively to the youth, underlining their importance.
