The Commission for Air Quality Management has tightened pollution rules in Delhi-NCR as the air quality stays in the ‘Very Poor’ range. The panel has revised the Graded Response Action Plan and moved many curbs to lower stages so they can be used earlier. Steps like ensuring steady power supply, adding traffic staff, sending public alerts, and increasing CNG and electric buses are now part of Stage I. New photos and videos from the Dubai Air Show show the Tejas fighter jet descending before it crashed and burst into flames. The aircraft was doing a negative-G turn and then a roll at very low height. It lost altitude and hit the ground at 2:10 pm. Eyewitnesses said the jet kept going lower and never pulled up. Thick black smoke rose from the crash site as people watched in shock. The pilot, Wing Commander Namansh Syal, died in the crash. He was 34 and is survived by his wife, daughter, and parents. 

A major breakthrough has come in the Delhi blast probe. Dr Muzammil Shakeel, linked to Jaish, has confessed to planning blasts across several Indian cities. He told investigators he had spent two years collecting explosives, chemicals, remotes, and other bomb parts. Muzammil and suicide bomber Umar Mohammad raised ₹26 lakh to fund the operation themselves. They also bought large amounts of fertiliser and stored chemicals in a deep freezer. The group worked at Al Falah University, which is now under investigation. Officials say the plan was for multiple blasts, but the Red Fort explosion happened early. Umar died in the blast.

An Indian Air Force Tejas fighter jet crashed during the Dubai Airshow on Friday, killing the pilot. The jet was performing a barrel roll when it appeared to lose balance and dropped too close to the ground. Experts said the aircraft may not have had enough height or speed to pull up again.
