Of the 44 passengers onboard, 21 survived, while 20 perished, 11 bodies identified so far. PM Modi and President Murmu expressed condolences, announcing compensation. A Hyderabad-bound Kaveri Travels bus caught fire after colliding with a motorcycle near Chinna Tekuru village in Kurnool district early Friday morning. Out of more than 40 passengers, at least 32 are feared dead, with 21 bodies recovered so far and several severely burnt. Only around a dozen managed to escape through windows. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu expressed deep condolences and directed officials to provide immediate relief and medical aid to victims and their families.  

Russian President Vladimir Putin dismissed the latest US sanctions on Rosneft and Lukoil, calling them serious but not damaging to Russia’s economy.
