The firms, including CJ Shah & Co, Chemovick, and Haresh Petrochem, allegedly imported Iranian energy products worth hundreds of millions. The move aims to curb Iran’s revenue streams and pressure its regime over regional activities.

A ceasefire between Israel and Hamas came into effect on Friday, prompting the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) to partially withdraw from parts of Gaza. Troops pulled back to agreed positions, though they still control half of the Strip. Thousands of Palestinians are moving north, many on foot, carrying belongings. Actor Deepika Padukone has been appointed India’s first-ever Mental Health Ambassador by the Union Ministry of Health & Family Welfare.
