A French tourist was allegedly raped in Udaipur, Rajasthan, after a man she met at a party lured her to his flat under the pretext of showing her the city’s sights. Gujarat’s health department confirmed 275 deaths in the June 12 Air India Dreamliner crash in Ahmedabad—241 onboard and 34 on ground. 3 villagers died after inhaling poisonous gas while trying to save a calf that fell into a well in Dharnavada village, Guna, Madhya Pradesh. The incident happened on Tuesday afternoon. 6 people went into the well. One came out feeling dizzy. The others fell unconscious. Rescue teams pulled out 3, but they were declared dead at the hospital. Efforts are still on to save the remaining 2. The well had 12 feet of water, making rescue work hard. Officials said the calf fell in when people chased it away while picking mangoes. Police and rescue teams are at the spot.
