State-run oil companies have increased the price of domestic LPG cylinders by ₹29 from June 7. This is the second price hike since the start of the West Asia conflict. After the revision, a 14.2-kg LPG cylinder will cost ₹968 in Kolkata and ₹942 in Delhi. The government said global LPG prices have risen sharply due to disruptions in energy supplies and the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the exam city intimation slip for candidates appearing in the NEET UG 2026 re-examination on June 21. Students can download the slip from the official NEET website using their application details. The city slip informs candidates about the city where their exam centre is located. 3 separate egg-pelting incidents were reported across West Bengal on Sunday as angry residents protested against TMC leaders facing corruption and criminal allegations. In Midnapore, people threw eggs at a police vehicle carrying TMC leader Sujoy Hazra, accusing him of taking money for housing projects without delivering homes. In Kolkata, councillors Bappaditya Dasgupta and Md Jasimuddin also faced protests and egg attacks while being escorted by police. Dasgupta was arrested in an extortion case, while Jasimuddin was arrested in a POCSO case. Large crowds gathered, demanding action and raising slogans against the accused leaders.

3 Air India aircraft were damaged at Delhi Airport after strong winds reportedly pushed a step ladder into the parked planes on Sunday. 8 people, including 4 children, were rescued after a fire broke out in a residential building in South Delhi's New Friends Colony on Sunday.
