Ex-Judge Giribala Singh Arrested By CBI In Daughter-In-Law Twisha Sharma Death Case

Retired judge Giribala Singh was arrested by the CBI on Thursday in connection with the death of her daughter-in-law Twisha Sharma in Bhopal. The arrest came a day after the Madhya Pradesh High Court quashed the anticipatory bail granted to her by a trial court. Twisha was found dead on May 12, while an FIR was registered on May 15 under provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Dowry Prohibition Act. PMO To Monitor NEET-UG Re-Test Process Till Last Student Receives Question Paper

India Opens ₹15,000 Crore Bid To Build AMCA Stealth Fighter, Three Private Consortia Shortlisted

The Defence Ministry has issued requests for proposals to three shortlisted private sector bidders for developing five prototypes of India’s Advanced Medium Combat Aircraft (AMCA), the country’s fifth-generation stealth fighter jet project worth ₹15,000 crore.   The shortlisted bidders include Tata Advanced Systems Limited, Larsen and Toubro with Bharat Electronics Limited, and Bharat Forge with Bharat Earth Movers Limited. Developed by DRDO’s Aeronautical Development Agency, the AMCA will initially use GE-414 engines, with future variants expected to feature made-in-India Safran engines.   The first prototype is expected by 2027, while the fighter’s maiden flight is likely between 2028 and 2029 before serial production begins in the mid-2030s. Heavy Israeli Strikes Hit Southern Lebanon After Mass Evacuation Orders Near Tyre
