India has urged Turkey to act with greater sensitivity following its support for Pakistan after the Pahalgam terror attack. “Relations are built on sensitivities to each other’s concerns,” said Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal during a media briefing. The UP Anti-Terrorism Squad has arrested a man named Tufail from Varanasi for spying. He is accused of sending secret photos and information to people in Pakistan. He shared pictures of key places like Rajghat, Gyanvapi, and Red Fort. Tufail was in touch with around 600 Pakistanis, including a woman whose husband is in the Pakistan Army. He also posted videos and messages supporting extremism. Officials found he used WhatsApp to spread hate and connect locals with Pakistan-based groups. Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised India’s armed forces for swiftly avenging the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack. On May 22, 2025, a soldier lost his life during a heavy exchange of fire in an encounter with terrorists in Singhpora, Chatroo area of Kishtwar district, Jammu and Kashmir. Acting on precise intelligence, a joint operation by the Indian Army, Jammu & Kashmir Police, and paramilitary forces trapped 3-4 Jaish-e-Mohammed militants. The soldier succumbed to injuries sustained during the intense gunfight while undergoing treatment. Investigations reveal that several of her travel videos were sponsored by UAE-based firm Wego, which operates in Pakistan under a valid travel agency license. Malhotra, who has around 4 lakh YouTube subscribers and 1.32 lakh Instagram followers, is suspected of sharing sensitive information with Pakistani intelligence operatives during Operation Sindoor, India's retaliation for the Pahalgam terror attack. While there's no direct evidence linking Wego to Pakistani funding, its operations in the country have raised concerns.
