In a recent video release, designated Khalistani terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun targets Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, and others, vowing to challenge them "right in their own backyard." Pannun, representing the banned Sikhs for Justice group, accuses the Modi government of "transnational terrorism" and pledges to continue advocating for a Khalistan referendum. The video features clips of Rajnath Singh and PM Modi. Pannun also calls for embarrassment of Modi during the upcoming elections. This isn't the first time Pannun has used social media to propagate his agenda, previously issuing threats and warnings.

The controversy unfolded shortly after Maldivian Foreign Minister Moosa Zameer thanked India for renewing trade quotas.

Over 2.3 million Asian Americans faced poverty in 2022, with Indian-Americans showing the lowest poverty rate at 6%, per Pew Research Center. Among Asian Americans aged 25 and above living in poverty, one-third hold a bachelor’s degree, contrasting with 14% of non-Asians. Abu Dhabi police have apprehended Muhammad Niyas, a 38-year-old Indian employee of the LuLu Group, for purportedly embezzling ₹1.5 crore from the company. Niyas, a native of Kannur district in Kerala, worked as a cash office-in-charge at LuLu Hypermarket in Khalidiyah Mall, Abu Dhabi, for 15 years. The robbery was discovered after Niyas failed to report for duty on March 25 and subsequent attempts to contact him were unsuccessful. Following an investigation, the police swiftly arrested Niyas, with the commercial institution expressing gratitude for the prompt response. Further legal actions are pending as the investigation progresses.  

Daibai, a 99-year-old Indian woman, has obtained US citizenship after years in Florida with her daughter. USCIS hailed her journey, capturing the heartwarming moment she received her citizenship certificate. While her accomplishment is celebrated, it also sparked questions among Indian X users about the delay in her naturalization process. USCIS manages immigration affairs, including visas for Indian tech professionals. One user humorously hinted at Daibai's prolonged wait, joking about Indian green card backlogs and H-1B renewals, suggesting she can now retire. India's commitment to its Neighborhood First policy remains steadfast despite political shifts in Maldives favoring China. In continuation of this, India plans to supply thousands of metric tons of onions to Sri Lanka after aiding Maldives. Furthermore, India has allocated an additional 10,000 metric tons of onions to the UAE, reinforcing the strong bilateral ties between the two nations. This demonstrates the credibility of Narendra Modi's government in prioritizing regional partnerships and ensuring the provision of essential commodities to neighboring countries, even amidst changing geopolitical dynamics.
