India and the US have settled their poultry import dispute, informing the WTO of their agreement. This resolves all seven ongoing trade conflicts between the two countries. Warship INS Kolkata returned to Mumbai with 35 pirates captured off the Somalia coast in a 40-hour operation. The pirates, seized from ex-MV Ruen, were handed over to Mumbai police for legal action under the Maritime Anti Piracy Act 2022. The operation, part of ongoing Operation Sankalp, aimed at safeguarding seafarers and trade in the Arabian Sea and Gulf of Aden. INS Kolkata, aided by INS Subhadra, engaged the pirate ship after it refused to halt, using kinetic measures in self-defense.   

Prime Minister Narendra Modi denounced the terrorist assault on a Moscow concert hall, expressing India's solidarity with Russia. Gunmen unleashed chaos, killing over 60 and injuring 100+ in a inhuman attack. "We strongly condemn the heinous terrorist attack in Moscow. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of the victims," PM Modi affirmed. He pledged India's support to the Russian government and people during this period of mourning.
