With the BJP-led NDA leading with over 290 seats but falling short of the majority, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge announced plans to meet INDIA bloc partners on June 5. The INDIA bloc, currently at 231 seats, exceeded expectations, particularly in the Hindi belt and southern states. The TMC's strong performance marks a potential comeback after significant losses in 2019. Notably, TMC's Yusuf Pathan defeats West Bengal Congress chief Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury in Baharampur.
