The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has summoned Trinamool Congress (TMC) leader Mahua Moitra for questioning in a FEMA (Foreign Exchange Management Act) violation case after she failed to appear on Monday. Moitra, ousted Lok Sabha MP, has been given a week's time to appear after expressing her inability to depose. The ED seeks to question her regarding transactions related to a non-resident external (NRE) account. Moitra is also under scrutiny by the CBI following allegations of targeting the Adani group and PM Modi in Lok Sabha. Moitra denies wrongdoing, alleging she is being targeted for questioning the Adani group's deals.          

Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi's '400 paar' slogan during the ongoing 'Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra' in Amethi.
