The IDF released fresh visuals as Israeli special forces, backed by additional troops, conducted a targeted operation at Gaza City's Shifa Hospital to dismantle Hamas terror infrastructure. The IDF claimed to have found weapons and assets inside, engaging in a gun battle that resulted in the death of at least five Hamas gunmen. In the video released on X (formerly Twitter), the military emphasized avoiding friction with civilians and delivering medical supplies, including incubators and baby food. The hospital allegedly serves as a cover for a Hamas command center. Despite the operation, the IDF urges Hamas terrorists to surrender. The raid raises concerns about civilian safety, with the hospital refusing evacuation amid dire conditions.

The Israel-Hamas war has killed over 11,000 Palestinians and 1,200 Israelis since October 7. Hamas accused the US of giving Israel a "green light" for the hospital raid after claims that terrorists used hospitals. Israel seized several Hamas government buildings in Gaza City, following killing of 200 Gaza hostages. Meanwhile protests erupted in Israel against PM Netanyahu over his handling of the war which has displaced 200,000.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued a sharp rebuke to Canadian counterpart Justin Trudeau's condemnation of civilian deaths in Gaza, accusing Hamas of deliberately using human shields. Netanyahu said Israel takes measures to protect civilians while Hamas prevents people from leaving conflict zones. Trudeau urged Israel to show restraint given the world is witnessing the killing of women, children and babies in Gaza. His remarks are the toughest by him on Israel since fighting began. Netanyahu stated that civilization must back Israel against Hamas' barbarism. The war has killed thousands and displaced over 1.5 million Palestinians.

Downing Street responded to Suella Braverman's scathing resignation letter attacking Rishi Sunak by stressing the PM believes in "action not words" and data shows he has cut migrant boats. No.10 said Sunak is "proud" of his tough legislation on illegal migration. Downing Str said the PM was “proud to appoint a strong, united team” after Ms. Braverman was sacked as home secretary.  Ms. Braverman, who was sacked after a series of controversial comments about homeless people and the police, published her explosive resignation on Tuesday evening. Braverman accused Sunak of being “weak” and claimed to have a “document” outlining her conditions for entering government in her letter. A spokesperson thanked Braverman for her service, despite her accusing Sunak of "betrayal" and lacking a migrant "Plan B". Even after the blistering letter, No. 10 underscored Sunak will continue 'anti-boat' work and is focused on real action. The PM values deeds over words, No. 10 signaled.
