UN Special Representative Pramila Patten reports "clear and convincing" evidence of rapes during Hamas' October 7 attacks on Israel, with ongoing concerns for those still held. The UN team found "reasonable grounds to believe" that conflict-related sexual violence, including rape and gang-rape, occurred at multiple locations, with victims often killed afterward. The incidents took place at the Nova music festival site, Road 232, and Kibbutz Re'im. Disturbingly, some involved the rape of women's corpses. Despite calls for victims to testify, none came forward. The UN mission interviewed survivors, witnesses, and released hostages during their two-and-a-half-week visit to Israel and the West Bank.
