NASA astronauts Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore had to seek emergency shelter in the Boeing Starliner spacecraft on the International Space Station (ISS) due to a space debris threat. The precautionary measure was taken after a satellite broke apart near the station's orbit. Mission Control instructed all crew members to take cover in their respective spacecraft. The astronauts remained in the Starliner capsule for about an hour until the debris passed harmlessly by. Once the threat was cleared, the crew resumed normal operations on the station.
