Israel launched a retaliatory strike on Beirut, Lebanon, targeting a senior Hezbollah commander believed to be responsible for the attack on Israeli children in Majdal Shams. The strike hit Beirut’s southern suburbs, particularly around Hezbollah's Shura Council. The IDF claims the commander was involved in the recent deadly strike on the Golan Heights that killed twelve children.
