Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has written to External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar seeking intervention to ensure the safety of Indians, including around 7,000 Keralites, stranded in Israel amid the ongoing conflict with Hamas. In his letter, Vijayan expressed concern over the hardship faced by Indian civilians as hostilities continue. He requested Jaishankar to intervene in every way to ensure the safety of Indian citizens in Israel. The Israel-Hamas war entered its fourth day Tuesday even as Israel claimed to have regained control of the border after finding bodies of 1,500 Hamas militants.
