Police dog Vixen was injured when struck by a brick during violent riots at a Holiday Inn Express in Tamworth, Staffordshire. The brick caused a gash over her right eye. Despite the injury, Vixen is expected to return to duty soon. Over the weekend, three police dogs and six officers were hurt in Tamworth and Stoke-on-Trent.
