A passenger plane carrying 62 people crashed in a residential area in Vinhedo, Sao Paulo state, Brazil. The Voepass flight, which took off from Cascavel, was bound for Sao Paulo's Guarulhos International Airport. Local authorities confirmed that all 62 passengers, including four crew members, died. The aircraft, a 14-year-old ATR 72-500, lost signal about 90 minutes after takeoff. Eyewitness footage showed the plane spiraling before crashing.
