Hindus in Bangladesh held large rallies in Dhaka and Chittagong to protest against recent attacks on their community after the fall of Sheikh Hasina's government on August 5. Since then, over 205 violent incidents have been reported across 52 districts, with many Hindus injured, temples vandalized, and two leaders killed. Thousands are fleeing to India for safety. Nobel laureate and interim leader Muhammad Yunus condemned the attacks, calling for national unity and urging protection for Hindu, Christian, and Buddhist families. He stressed that all communities must live together in peace.
