Since the riots, 779 arrests have been made, with 349 individuals charged. Courts are extending hours to handle the caseload, and the Crown Prosecution Service is considering more severe charges. Meanwhile, anti-racism protests have outnumbered far-right demonstrations, with thousands rallying in support of refugees and minority groups. The unrest also saw a petrol bomb attack on a mosque in Northern Ireland.
