Abdullah, A 29-year-old security guard disarmed a 32-year-old knifeman after an 11-year-old girl and her 34-year-old mother were stabbed in London’s Leicester Square. Abdullah said he heard a scream and jumped on the attacker, disarming him and holding him until police arrived. "I just saw a kid getting stabbed, and I just tried to save her. It's my duty to just save them," Abdullah stated. The attacker, who did not know the victims, was arrested at the scene. The Metropolitan Police praised Abdullah's bravery. The incident occurred at 11:36 AM on Monday, August 12, 2024.
