Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky announced on Tuesday that Ukrainian forces now control 74 settlements in Russia's Kursk border region. This update comes as Kyiv's troops continue their week-long incursion. Previously, the Kursk governor reported Ukrainian control over 28 settlements. Zelensky highlighted the ongoing advance despite intense fighting, sharing footage of a video call with military chief Oleksandr Syrsky. Syrsky revealed that Ukrainian forces have gained over 40 square kilometers of territory recently, bringing the total to approximately 1,000 square kilometers.
