British tech tycoon Mike Lynch and his 18-year-old daughter are among six people missing after the luxury yacht Bayesian sank off Sicily early Monday. The 56-meter vessel, carrying 22 people including British, American, and Canadian nationals, capsized around 05:00 local time due to a severe storm that produced waterspouts. Fifteen people, including a one-year-old British girl, were rescued. The yacht encountered the storm during the night, which led to the capsizing. Lynch, known for co-founding software company Autonomy, which was sold to Hewlett-Packard for $11 billion, is reported missing with his daughter. Search and rescue operations continue through the night.
