Ashraf El Attar, a nurse at Gaza's European Hospital, reported that his wife and six children were killed in an attack on their home in Deir-al-Balah, central Gaza. The incident occurred early Sunday morning. El Attar survived with minor injuries. The victims included his wife, Hala Khattab, a teacher, their 15-year-old son, a one-year-old daughter, and four 10-year-old quadruplets. Israel has not specifically addressed this attack but has stated that its operations in Gaza target armed groups. The Israeli military claims it only strikes those involved in hostilities. El Attar described the loss as devastating, leaving him with nothing.
