Israel has conducted pre-emptive strikes on Hezbollah targets in Lebanon after detecting plans for a large-scale rocket attack. Hezbollah fired over 320 rockets towards northern Israel, targeting 11 military sites. The escalation follows the recent killing of Hezbollah commander Fuad Shukr. In response, Israel has declared a 48-hour state of emergency, with air raid sirens sounding across the northern region. Flights to and from Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion Airport were briefly suspended. The US has reiterated its support for Israel amid the growing conflict.
