In Balochistan, Pakistan, at least thirty-one people were killed on Monday in two separate attacks. Gunmen shot twenty-three individuals after pulling them from vehicles in Musakhail district, and nine more were killed in Qalat, including four police officers. The attackers torched ten vehicles before fleeing. Separatist insurgents are suspected of being behind these assaults, part of ongoing unrest in the province. The Baloch Liberation Army recently warned people to avoid highways, though no group has claimed responsibility yet.
