Ukraine's defense forces intercepted 58 out of 67 Shahed drones launched by Russia in a massive overnight attack. The drone debris was discovered near Ukraine’s parliament in Kyiv, though no damage to critical infrastructure was reported. Russian drones targeted several regions, including Kyiv, Kherson, and Sumy. Ukrainian air defense successfully prevented any hits in the capital. No casualties were reported. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky continues to push for additional air defenses in response to Russia’s ongoing assault on Ukrainian cities.
