Super Typhoon Yagi has caused severe devastation in northern Vietnam, including the collapse of the 375-meter Phong Chau bridge in Phu Tho province. The disaster has led to 10 cars and two scooters falling into the Red River, with three rescued and 13 missing. Yagi, Asia’s strongest storm of the year, has killed over 60 people since hitting Vietnam on September 7. The typhoon brought winds up to 203 km/h (126 mph), causing landslides, floods, and widespread power outages. Authorities have launched rescue operations and advised residents to stay indoors.
