Over 140 Ukrainian drones targeted multiple Russian regions overnight, including Moscow and surrounding areas, marking one of the largest drone assaults in the 2.5-year conflict. A woman was killed in Ramenskoye, a town near Moscow, where drones hit residential buildings and started fires. The attack led to the temporary closure of three major airports near Moscow, diverting 48 flights. This follows a similar massive attack earlier in September. Ukrainian drone strikes aim to disrupt Russian operations and provoke the Kremlin, as the conflict continues with intense battles on the eastern front and new military drills by Russia.
