Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed deep shock over the Gaza hospital blast that killed 500+ people. In a tweet, he offered condolences to victims' families and prayers for the injured. PM said civilian casualties in the Israel-Hamas conflict are concerning and those involved in the hospital attack should be held responsible. Hamas alleged an Israeli airstrike caused the blast but Israel denied involvement, blaming a Palestinian militant rocket misfire. The UN Secretary-General and US President also condemned the strike, calling for protection of civilians.
