A man has been arrested following an "apparent assassination attempt" on Donald Trump at Trump International Golf Course in West Palm Beach, according to the FBI. Gunshots were heard while Trump played a round of golf. Palm Beach County Sheriff Ric Bradshaw said a Secret Service agent saw a rifle barrel protruding from a perimeter fence. The agent engaged the suspect, who fled the scene. It is unclear whether the suspect fired any shots or if only the Secret Service discharged their weapon. An assault rifle was recovered, and investigations are ongoing. No injuries have been reported.
