Ukraine and Russia exchanged 206 prisoners in a major swap on Saturday, with each country releasing 103 captives. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy credited the swap to his forces' recent incursion into Russia’s Kursk region, which boosted negotiations mediated by the United Arab Emirates. The released Ukrainians included 82 soldiers and 21 officers, held since the war's early months. Among them were 23 members of the Azov Brigade, who fought in Mariupol. The swap marks the third exchange since Ukraine's cross-border incursion, as Kyiv continues efforts to return captured soldiers.
