A wave of pager explosions across Lebanon injured over 2,750 people and killed eight, including two Hezbollah fighters. The detonations, which lasted about an hour, occurred mainly in Hezbollah strongholds such as southern Beirut. The pagers, newly issued by Hezbollah, exploded simultaneously, causing widespread panic and damage. The Iranian Ambassador to Lebanon, Mojtaba Amani, was injured in the blasts. Hezbollah has not blamed Israel for the incident. This attack comes amid ongoing border conflicts between Hezbollah and Israel, following recent escalations in the Gaza war.
