At least 9 people, including a Hezbollah fighter’s son and a young girl, have died in Lebanon after newly acquired pagers exploded across the country, according to Health Minister Firas Abiad. The devices, ordered after Hezbollah stopped using mobile phones, heated up before detonating around 3:30 pm. Over 2,750 people have been injured, with 200 critically wounded. Hezbollah, which blames Israel for the attacks, reported that many of the casualties are fighters, including top officials’ sons. Senior Hezbollah official Hussein Khalil called it a "targeting of an entire nation.”
