Rinson Jose, a Kerala-born Norwegian citizen, is under investigation for his company's alleged connection to the deadly pager blasts that killed 12 people in Lebanon. Jose, who owns Norta Global Ltd. in Bulgaria, was implicated in supplying modified pagers reportedly linked to Hezbollah. Initial investigations indicated the devices were manufactured in Taiwan and Hungary. However, Bulgarian authorities later stated that the pagers involved were neither imported nor manufactured in Bulgaria, and there were no transactions related to terrorism financing. Jose’s relatives maintain his innocence, stating he has been unreachable since the blasts.
