Dai Davies, former head of Scotland Yard’s Royal Protection Command, revealed he raised concerns about Mohamed Al Fayed's reputation to the Royal Family in the 1990s. He was alarmed when Princess Diana went on holiday with Al Fayed and her sons in 1997, a month before her death. Al Fayed, who died last year, faces serious allegations of sexual abuse, with 37 women accusing him of assault while they worked at Harrods. Fulham FC, which he owned from 1997-2013, has expressed concern over the accusations and is investigating if any staff were affected.
