Lebanon’s Health Minister Dr. Firass Abiad has declared that the country is "already at war" following recent Israeli airstrikes, which have resulted in nearly 700 deaths and displaced around 500,000 people. In an interview with Sky News, Abiad accused Israel of creating a "state of panic and terror" aimed at provoking a mass exodus. He noted an unprecedented number of casualties, with approximately 5,000 injured, including many women and children. He called for an immediate ceasefire and urged the international community to pressure Israel to halt its military actions.
