Lebanon’s Hezbollah confirmed its chief, Hassan Nasrallah, was killed during an Israeli airstrike on the group’s underground headquarters in Beirut. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) targeted the site in a southern suburb, killing Nasrallah, senior leader Ali Karaki, and other commanders. Hezbollah vowed to continue its fight against Israel, pledging support for Gaza and Palestine. The militant group’s Al-Manar TV broadcast Quranic verses following Nasrallah’s death. The IDF claimed the strike was aimed at disrupting Hezbollah’s terrorist activities against Israel.
