The IIFA 2024 awards, held in Abu Dhabi, celebrated the best of Indian cinema. Shah Rukh Khan won Best Actor for Jawan, while Rani Mukerji was awarded Best Actress for Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway. Animal, starring Ranbir Kapoor, took home the Best Film award. Vidhu Vinod Chopra won Best Director for 12th Fail. Anil Kapoor and Shabana Azmi were recognized for their supporting roles in Animal and Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, respectively. Bobby Deol won Best Negative Role for Animal. The night also honored Hema Malini for her outstanding contribution to Indian cinema.
