Israel launched airstrikes on Houthi targets in Yemen after the Houthis fired drones and missiles at Israel. The strikes hit fighter jets, power plants, and ports in Ras Issa and Hodeidah. The Israeli Defense Forces said the attacks targeted facilities used for transferring Iranian weapons. Four people died, and 29 were injured in the strikes. Israel's Defense Minister stated, "No place is too far" for Israeli forces. The Houthis increased attacks on Israel in response to the killing of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah, which led to rocket fire from Hezbollah into northern Israel.
