Hezbollah’s deputy leader, Naim Qassem, has said the group is prepared for a potential Israeli ground invasion in Lebanon. Speaking after the death of their leader, Hassan Nasrallah, in an Israeli strike, Qassem vowed continued support for Gaza and Palestine. Despite losing key commanders, he assured that Hezbollah remains strong and will continue under the same command structure. He also criticized the U.S. for supporting Israel in the ongoing conflict. A new Hezbollah leader will be appointed soon, with Hashem Safieddine, Nasrallah's cousin, among the top candidates for the role.
