Actor and Shiv Sena leader Govinda, 60, was hospitalised this morning after suffering a bullet injury to his leg from a misfire of his licensed revolver. The incident occurred around 4:45 am at his Juhu home when the revolver accidentally fell while being kept in a cupboard. Govinda, who was alone at the time, was rushed to Criticare Hospital and treated before being discharged. His manager stated, “It’s due to God’s grace that the injury was not serious.” Govinda had been preparing to catch a flight for a show in Kolkata.
